HE Sibongiseni Dlamini-Mntambo (Former High Commissioner Of South Africa To Canada)
HE Sibongiseni Dlamini-Mntambo served in the Department of International Relations and Cooperation in South Africa. During her tenure, she held various positions including Head of Mission and High Commissioner of South Africa to Canada. She also served as the Chair of Women Heads of Diplomatic Missions, Chair of the SADC Group Head of Mission, Chair of the Ottawa Diplomatic Association, and Vice Dean of the Africa Group Heads of Mission.
Her responsibilities included providing leadership for the South African Mission in Ottawa and Toronto, as well as other government departments and entities in Canada. She introduced policy guidelines for change management, engaged with various stakeholders, and facilitated discussions on diverse issues. Sibongiseni lobbied for South African interests, organized business activities, and promoted South Africa as an investment destination. She also managed budgets and chaired relevant programs for different forums.
Sibongiseni has consulted various government departments and the private sector, specializing in marketing and communication.
