Business Update – Covid 19
Dear Members and Partners
As we reflect on the past week, it is important that we take the learnings into the next two weeks and possibly even beyond to adapt to operating in a business environment that we could never have imagined possible.
I am inspired by the innovation being demonstrated by many of our members and partners and their willingness to share ideas and best practices with us to support all businesses and particularly the sme sector.
It is this spirit of Ubuntu that will ensure that we navigate these uncertain times knowing that we do so confident in the knowledge that we are united in our purpose to prevent the spread of Covid 19 and restore socio-economic stability as speedily as possible. We need to continue heeding Government’s plea for compliance with measures introduced to fight this pandemic and now, more than ever is the time to demonstrate our resilience and resourcefulness in the face of adversity.
In our News Brief earlier this week, we undertook to keep you updated with information on regulatory and business related topics and we attach communications prepared by our members, FASKEN, Norton Rose Fulbright and ENS which deal with specific topics and which may impact you and your business at this time.
In order to provide you with information which is meaningful and relevant across the broader spectrum of business, we invite you to submit suggestions on topics you would like to have covered in future News Briefs and to share your learnings with other members.
During these uncertain times, we want you to know that for SACANCHAM it is business as usual and we are here to support you as best we can. Should you require an introduction to a potential business partner, need to be put in touch with a service provider or require information, please feel free to reach out to us.
I thank you for your ongoing support of SACANCHAM and would be delighted to receive your suggestions and ideas on how we can enhance the content of our communications with you.
Be strong, remain focused and most importantly, be safe…..
Note: We acknowledge Norton Rose Fulbright, ENS and FASKEN for giving us access to their material and authorizing us to share it with you, our members.
Warm regards
Mike Morgan
CEO, SACANCHAM
