SACANCHAM Dinner with Lesetja Kganyago, SARB Governor
“Challenges facing the global economy: a South African perspective”
SACANCHAM in partnership with SwissCham were privileged to host the globally acclaimed and respected South African Reserve Bank Governor, Mr Lesetja Kganyago at a dinner last week.
Addressing the guests on the subject of the challenges facing the global economy including South Africa, the Governor also shared his deep insights and incisive observations on the FATF’s grey-listing of South Africa; allaying concerns of potential investors and loadshedding and its impact on economic growth.
His frank and thought-provoking comments encouraged a barrage of questions during a spirited Q&A session, all of which were handled with aplomb and sincerity.
At the end of his address, the 78 plus guests rose as one to give the Governor a standing ovation, a well-deserved tribute to an inspirational leader…
