Cas is CEO of Business Unity South Africa (BUSA) and the former MD of The Banking Association SA (BASA). He is currently the Chairperson of the National Business Initiative and serves on several boards, such as the Centre for Development and Enterprise and Nepad Business Foundation. He is the past President of the International Banking Federation (IBFed). He serves on the Council of the University of Witwatersrand as well as the Steering Committee of the CEO Initiative.
Cas obtained his B. Com from the University College – Durban and furthered his studies in Housing Finance with the Wharton Real Estate Centre at the University of Pennsylvania.
