SACANCHAM in partnership with SwissCham were privileged to host the globally acclaimed and respected South African Reserve Bank Governor, Mr Lesetja Kganyago at a dinner on 19 April 2023.
Addressing the guests on the subject of the challenges facing the global economy including South Africa, the Governor also shared his deep insights and incisive observations on the FATF’s grey-listing of South Africa; allaying concerns of potential investors and loadshedding and its impact on economic growth.
His frank and thought-provoking comments encouraged a barrage of questions during a spirited Q&A session, all of which were handled with aplomb and sincerity.
