Mazars Transfer Pricing Seminar
Transfer pricing in Africa and the impact of Permanent Establishments and Place of Effective Management on related party transactions.
Mazars hereby invites you to attend our transfer pricing seminar with a focus on recent transfer pricing regulations and recent related case law pronounced in South Africa and some key African countries. The seminar will further focus on the impact of permanent establishments and place of effective management on related party transactions for transfer pricing purposes.
With constant changes in the transfer pricing landscape, not only in the rest of the world but in South Africa and Africa as well, it is imperative that all Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) are up to date with current developments. This seminar aims to highlight some key developments within the transfer pricing landscape in South Africa and Africa as well as practical considerations to be taken account of by MNEs operating within these countries enabling them to better manage transfer pricing and other tax risks.
Particular attention will be placed on the following African countries, viz. Botswana, Nigeria, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Kenya.

DAVID FRENCH – TAX DIRECTOR
David joined Mazars as a Director – Tax Consulting in July 2017 and focuses on all areas of corporate tax, including tax restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, financial services and instruments, international tax and exchange control.
Prior to his employment with the South African Revenue Services, David spent some 15 years with a Big 4 accounting firm where he was involved in, amongst other things, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions and transaction structuring.

CHARL HALL – MANAGER TAX CONSULTING
Charl joined Mazars in 2012. He is a Master Tax Practitioner in South Africa registered with the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners. Charl has a Masters in South African and International Taxation as well as an Advanced Diploma in Transfer Pricing obtained through the International Institute of Tax and Finance. Charl has been consulting to various clients on transfer pricing, related international tax and South African Tax Administration matters for a number of years.
