Following a three-country visit from Mary Ng and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau back in February, we are pleased to showcase next steps to continuing the Africa momentum – now specific to the COVID-19 context and the measures in place for Canadian businesses.
Canada is an honest broker and proudly Africa’s business partner of choice.
Minister Ng will be covering questions related to:
- the role of the diaspora in deepening Canada-Africa trade and investment;
- Africa’s essential place in Canada’s trade diversification;
- how Canada is meeting needs in Africa;
- and a message from the Canadian government to Small and Medium Businesses.
Following the Minister’s session starting at 6PM, at 6.30PM the Africa leadership at McKinsey will share the latest insights on COVID-19 in African markets and the prospects for Canada-Africa trade and investment. The second session will last 45-minutes and end at 19:15 CAT.
In addition to sponsors and partners, participants include influential policy thinkers who are focused on creating an enabling environment for Canada-Africa trade and investment. Minister Mary Ng is a strong proponent of Canada’s role in Africa and it’s markets which hold huge potential for Canadian companies particularly in the SME sector.
